Amy Doyle, who began her career as a voice actress, made her feature film debut in Andy Nyman and Jeremy Dyson's recent release, Ghost Stories, adapted from their stage play, which hit screens in April.

It's the Yorkshire born actress's biggest role to date, although she's also appeared in an episode of hit Netflix drama The Crown, and played the title role in Will Nash's 2018 short film Lady. Doyle plays Esther Goodman in the new feature, starring alongside Martin Freeman, Alex Lawther and Paul Whitehouse, in what was described by critics as 'the best British horror for years'.
